We provide one-stop design and build solutions which generally include design, preparation of shop drawings and structural calculations, procurement of building materials and BMU systems, installation and logistics arrangement services as well as on-site project supervision, post-completion maintenance services and project management. To a smaller extent, we also provide one-off and regular repair and maintenance services. Our BMU system works cover both private and public sectors and coverresidential buildings, commercial buildings, industrial buildings as well as community facilities. We mainly provide crane type BMU systems and also provide other types of BMU systems, such as roof trolley BMU systems, monorail BMU systems, and davit arm BMU systems.

According to the Ipsos Report, we ranked first among the top five design and build solution service providers for BMU system works in Hong Kong in 2018 in terms of revenue with a market share of approximately 49.9%.

One-stop Solutions

Our gondola business of the group provide the one-stop shop service. According to the difference façade of the building, our group design the gondola systems to fulfill the local and international standard. The process of the gondola business is as follows:

Since the external geometry of the building is various, our team will base on the architect’s design intent and the requirement such as the safety working load, height limited to tailor make the gondola to suit the building. The use of the gondola system is not only limited to external cleaning, but also for the building maintenance, such as glass replacement and the façade repairing works.

Our holdings is the GinD Exclusive distributor in Hong Kong. We have closely communication between each other, hence, we can design the gondola to fulfill the local and the international standard. GinD is using the most advanced information system in design and calculation in the market to satisfy each customers requirement. After the preliminary design, we will study the feasibility of the proposal with the architect to get the possible solution for the building maintenance unit.

Structural calculation is an important aspect to the design of gondola system, without careful planning and consideration will cause the accidents occurred. Gondola system has been establishment in Hong Kong for 20+ years, the government has set out safety regulation and code of practice to abide by. Since the safety is a major consideration of ACME’s company policy, we have employed the experience structural engineers for all design work to code with the regulation.

Products

Crane type BMU systems

Crane type BMU system comprises a suspended working platform connected to the jib arm of the crane system on the roof. The jib arm of the crane system is attached to a rotating head which allows the suspended working platform to rotate and reach different parts of the façade of the building. A single crane type BMU system installed in the right position can serve the entire façade of the building. Compact crane type BMU system is a variety of crane type BMU system which typically has shorter jib arm that can stay within the rooftop area with smaller rotating range or mounted on tracks.

Roof Trolley BMU Systems

Roof trolley BMU system is generally light and simple with shorter jib arm while the stability against overturning is achieved either by its own weight or by counterweight. Roof trolley BMU system can be further divided into track type BMU system and trackless type BMU system. Track type BMU system is normally installed on parapet wall-mounted tracks or floor-mounted guide rails, which requires an electrical motor to be driven along the tracks. The tracks are designed to follow the shape of the façade in order to reduce the length of the jib arm. Trackless type BMU system is mobile on roof which can be driven to any desired location for operation and can be easily hidden or concealed.

Monorail BMU Systems

Monorail BMU system comprises a single track that runs along the exterior façade following the shape of the building. A running trolley is mounted on the monorail track which allows the suspended working platform to move along the building horizontally or with an incline. It can run along the monorail track manually or electrically.

Davit Arm BMU Systems

Davit arm BMU system refers to suspended working platform connected to davit arms which can be wall-mounted or floor-mounted. The davit arms can be equipped as rotating to allow the suspended working platform to be manoeuvred to the desired spot, or as telescopic to increase working range over the parapet wall.
